Priscilla E. Abji, LCSW, M.Ed
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW 91112)
MSW, Social Work
I am dedicated to recognizing each client’s unique experiences, personalities, strengths, and needs to help them find their own respective path to healing. I am passionate about social justice/systemic inequality issues and consider it an honor and privilege to come alongside my clients in their journey of healing and resilience.
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults, as well as in issues concerning abuse, grief/loss, PTSD, family of origin, foster/adoption, relationships, identity, anger management, spirituality, depression, anxiety, other mood disorders, and various forms of trauma. I also have experience collaborating with doctors, psychiatrists, teachers, county social workers, probation officers, county counsel, and with children's/family court.
My manner of practicing is with eclectic therapeutic framework, where I believe treatment should be personalized to each individual’s specific needs, with a general emphasis on Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) and Psychodynamic therapy. My therapeutic approach is warm, empathic, collaborative, and outcome-focused.
